ART helped a global postal technology provider modernise the platform it supplies to Posts, unifying fragmented legacy systems on Azure and making new services and regions 50% faster to roll out.
The opportunity
The client supplies the software that national Posts use to run their operations, across many countries. Its platform had grown over fragmented legacy systems, which duplicated records and delayed reporting and gave no single view of operations across those countries.
The provider also wanted to add financial services such as remittances and bill payments. Hardware compatibility, third-party integrations and an Oracle database migration all had to be handled along the way.

ART built one centralised platform in which the differences between countries are handled through configuration, not separate code.

ART built a centralised .NET platform hosted on Azure, with a layered architecture that separates shared logic from country-specific configuration. Every country runs on the same core, and expanding into a new one needs minimal code changes.

ART designed financial-service extensions as separate modules, so products such as remittances and bill payments are easier to introduce.

ART created reusable integration templates for external partners, so each new partner connection starts from an established pattern.
